The law school
Founded in 1949. The youngest of the top-ranked law schools in the country.
UCLA School of Law opened in 1949 and is the youngest of the top-ranked law schools in the United States, with more than 21,000 alumni leading in government, industry, social justice and the legal profession.
Executive Education is part of the law school, not a separate venture alongside it.

Why UCLA Law Executive Education?
-
You earn a certificate, not a degree.
These are professional programs. They give you the knowledge and the credential without the years, the cost or the bar exam a J.D. asks for.
-
Registration is open to everyone.
There is no admissions process. If a program is open, you can register for it. People assume a law school screens applicants, and here it does not.
-
MCLE credit is available where it applies.
UCLA School of Law is a State Bar of California approved MCLE provider. Where a program or a Bruin Bite carries credit, its own page says so — the Negotiation workshop is approved for 14 hours.
-
Sessions are taught live, not recorded.
Full-time UCLA Law faculty and leading experts in the legal industry, teaching online on Tuesdays and Thursdays rather than on a recording made years ago.
